Metro Grupo - Alberts on the Port

The second deliverable for the Metro Grupo was the implementation of the Srown Design for the Alberts on the Port restaurant. This project continued from the work undertaken to produce the site for Old Joy's Pub and Piano Bar. Alberts on the Port is located in the Cabopino port on the Costa del Sol of Spain. The venue includes a large terrace, the restaurant interior is decorated with Victorian styling and theatrical props.
Project Scope
My involvement with the project was to construct the template and create the homepage and subpages detailed in the project brief. This activity was completed using the Macromedia Dreamweaver templating system using XHTML and CSS.
Like the previous project for the Old Joy's Pub and Piano Bar there was integration the of Google Maps service. The Google Maps API was used to include a small map on the "How to find us" page marking the location of the restaurant.
A further development over the previous project for Old Joy's was the integration of the Lightbox photo gallery. The inclusion of the photo gallery was straight forward and added and attractive interface to navigate the album. The site has albums for both day and night.
