The Virtual Revolution

On the Saturday 30th January the first episode of The Virtual Revolution started on BBC 2 in the United Kingdom. The series covers the development of the Internet over the last 20 years. Dr Aleks Krotoski explores how the Internet has reshaped our lives. Episode 1 starts with how by charting the rise of blogs, Wikipedia, and YouTube and presents the huge benefits and the unforeseen downsides of the information culture.
