Article about my decision to add the Google Translate widget to matthewwittering.co.uk

Google Translate is one of my favourite services offered by Google. I use the service frequently as digital safety net when writing emails in Spanish. There is now however a new version of the widget. If you browser is configured to allow java script the widget appears below my brief introduction to the right of the page.

I like the new widgets Powered by Google translate tag line and its simpler and small design. It was previously quite square and blocky. I felt the design would distract users from the content and design of your website. From now you will be able to read my ramblings languages other than English.

You too can have the widget on your website. Get the snippet from the tools and resources selection of translate.google.com.
