Apollo 11 Saturn V Launch (HD) Camera E-8

The launch of Apollo 11 and the first expedition to the Moon and Sea of Traquility was a momentous occation for man kind. Below is a piece of film from the launch of Apollo 11 on the 16th July 1969. The clip is footage from Camera E-8 below the launch umbilical tower. The 16mm original film ran at 500 fps. The clip lasts eight minutes, however event only lasting 30 seconds.

I think this is a fantastic piece history viewed from an unusual perspective.
