Adam Curry's Big App Show

July 15th 2010

Big App Show is an iPhone application by Adam Curry to demonstrate and recommend applications.

I first found out about the Big App Show when Adam Curry started to mention that he was working on a programming project for iPhone on his Daily Source Code podcast. Big App Show if you do know is an iPhone application by Adam Curry to demonstrate and recommend applications he uses.

See the Apps before you get them from the App Store!

Quote 1: Big App Show description, credit Adam Curry.

Big App Show was downloaded 70,000 times the first two weeks it was available. According to USA Today in late May downloads had reached 140,000.

I am currently trying out SoundHound which based up Adam Curry's recommendation on Big App Show and Daily Source Code. SoundHound is a really cool application which lets you take a music sample you capture recorded with the microphone on your phone to search a database and identify the artist and track name. It can even recognised songs you sing or hum.

I think it is worth checking out Big App Show. You may find the application you have always wanted.
